Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist

Location: Lancaster,California
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in Lancaster, California.Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children in the school setting. As a school-basedOT, your primary responsibility is to support students in their development of the skills needed to participate fully in school activities. This position for the full uping School Year.

Details:

• 2024-2025 School Year
• Full-time or part-time
• Must be fortable working with students with Autism

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify fine motor, sensory processing, and visual perceptual disorders in children.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address occupational therapy issues.
• Provide therapy services to children in individual or group settings in the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure prehensive care.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
• municate with families and caregivers to provide education and support.
• Attend regular meetings with school staff and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California State Licensure in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting ispreferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
