Nebraska Medicine is seeking aOccupational or Physical Therapist (Lymphedema) to join our team in the Lauritzen Outpatient Center!

Position Highlights:
- Treat individuals with lymphedema to enhance well-being and quality of life.
- Utilize a wide variety of treatment techniques including manual lymph drainage, complete decongestive therapy, exercise prescription, gait training, and balance training to provide holistic care to patients with lymphatic dysfunction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including oncologists, vascular surgeons and plastic surgeons to provide comprehensive care.
- Opportunities for professional development including mentorship, participation in monthly meetings with lymphatic therapists, and participation in multi-disciplinary clinic meetings
Perform evaluation, planning, and implementation of lymphedema therapy treatments for outpatients. Assist with department goal setting, program planning, clinical instruction, and staff instruction in order to maintain a progressive educationally motivated staff. Carry out day to day communication and duties with teamwork and professionalism.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in physical or occupational therapy from an Accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy (APTA, AOTA) program required.
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certificate completed within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required. Strong team orientation required.
• Familiarity with items found in a typical PT and/or OT clinic (e.g., weights, exercise bikes, gait belts, ultrasound, traction, ambulatory devices, mats, etc.) required.
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist or occupational therapist in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon completion of unit orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Rehabilitation experience preferred.
