Occupational Health Nurse, Lpn

PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide Occupational Health support and post accident care assistance to division employees. Providing a framework to provide a safe and health work environment.
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
The Occupational Health Nurse , LPN (OHN) will assist in the Occupational Health program at Kamtek Inc and Kamtek Castings. The OHN shall assist with post accident care for injuries that occur during his/her shift. The OHN will support team members with minor personal medical care concerns.
The OHN will be responsible for leading preemployment physicals as well as annual required medical testing such as hearing testing. The OHN shall assist with first responder training. And provide emergency first aid or non phsyican required medical assistance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:

1. Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies
2. Follow and comply with all operational procedures/policies as stated in the employee Environmental Health and Safety programs
3. Follows and supports and Magna's operating principles, including:

   2. Abide by Kamtek policies and procedures as described in the most current version of the Employee Handbook.
   3. Open Door Policy - Solves issues with two-way, open and friendly communication.

   5. Safety First - Obey the plant's safety rules and procedures by wearing PPE at all times and immediately addressing all safety concerns. Promotes an environment where zero injuries are the expected standard.
   6. Promote MAFACT benchmarks to achieve World Class Manufacturing.
   7. Core values - Treat all team members equally, fairly, with dignity and respect without favoritism in accordance with company values.
   8. Attend and participate in Team, Department, Plant-wide and any other meetings as required.
   9. Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
4. Support the pre employment medical screening either directly or as coordinated through the program
5. Assist with post accident medical care that occurs during shift, and post accident screenings.
6. Assist the HR team with FMLA administration and wellness programs as directed.
7. Assist in supply of first aid rooms at all Kamtek/ Kamtek Castings
8. Promotes good housekeeping (5S)
9. Perform other duties as required.
