Occupational Health Nurse – Level 1 – Staff Nurse
Part time/ 2 flexible days per week/ 16 hours/ 10a-6:30p
Advantis Certified has a great opportunity for a part-time Occupational Health Nurse at our client site in Philadelphia, PA. Our client has a well-managed global safety program with the aim of zero injuries to employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors. They have seen a 30% reduction in total incidents in the last 3 years.

You’ll also be confident in your ability to assess situations and determine appropriate action and be proficient in medical recordkeeping.
The Role
The overall goal of the Occupational Health team is to prevent illness and injury in the occupational environment. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will:
• Administer professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
• Interview and document medical history of employees
• Perform and document physical exams
• Perform and evaluate clinical and diagnostic tests
• Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures
Additionally, the role requires that you maintain accurate medical records, maintain equipment and supplies, assist in promotion of plant wellness programs, and interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
The “Must Have’s”:
• RN Diploma/Associate degree required, BSN or BS preferred
• Valid RN license in the state
• Two or more years' nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
ER or Occupational Health nursing experience
• COHN certification
• Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
