To provide occupational therapy in accordance with agency policies and procedures under the direction of the licensed Occupational Therapist in a community setting, including health maintenance, rehabilitation, and health promotion utilizing industry standards for occupational therapy practice.
Requirements: Graduated with an Associate Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant approved by the Council of Medical Education or Hospital of the American Medical Association or the American Occupational Therapy Association. NBCOT certification is required. Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from the Kentucky Board of Occupational Therapy is required. BLS/CPR Certification is required.
