OCC Manager
Responsibilities:
- The Manager of OCC leads the OCC by keeping the team aligned with Ultimate Jet's core values
- They will ensure that the operation of the aircraft and crew are compliant with Ultimate Jet's safety requirements, FAA regulations, and other applicable company policies
- They report to Director of Operations
- Promote a safety culture
- Oversee and manage part 135 aviation operations, including flight scheduling, maintenance, and logistics
- Provide the Ultimate Jet team with creative solutions to aircraft scheduling issues
- Ensure compliance with FARs, GOM, Operations Specifications, and company policies
- Work with DOM to manage aircraft maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs and inspections
- Monitor fuel consumption and coordinate refueling operations
- Negotiate fuel contracts
- Manage CSR and travel departments to ensure highest quality client experience
- Manage departmental scheduling and PTO (CSR, Travel, OCC)
- Work with the fuel vendors on issues, negotiated rates, and adding aircraft to accounts
- Train team members according to the SOPs, FARs, and company policies
- Develop and implement training programs for OCC staff
- Develop and Maintain SOPs and training manual
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations, maintenance activities, and training programs
- Other duties as assigned by the DO
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with aviation staff
- Analysis and ability to calculate fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and other operational requirements
- Ability to manage flight scheduling efficiently
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years aviation experience, with at least 2 years aviation operations management experience
- Must be able to work some nights, holidays, and weekends
- Multitask calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities
- Proven history of supporting and growing a team
- Must maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Security experience is preferred (AOSC)
- Understand financial and company responsibilities
