JOB SUMMARY:
Asian Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to provide women's health services. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Clinical
1. Provide in-house specialty gynecologic and prenatal care
2. Provide health education to patients
3. Serve as a consultant to colleagues
4. Supervise and train physicians, Advance Practice Practitionerss, nurses, medical assistants, residents, and students as needed.
GENERAL AGENCY/AHS DUTIES:
1. Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among clients and staff.
2. Enforces clinic policies and procedures, including maintenance of client confidentiality under HIPAA privacy rules, to ensure that the principles of AHS are implemented.
3. Participates in agency-wide quality improvement program processes and performance improvement teams to ensure excellence in the quality of services provided across the agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have a valid California Physician/Surgeon license
2. Must have current Board Certification or be Board Eligible in specialty
3. Interest and commitment to serve the Asian community
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proficient in an Asian language a plus.
2. Experience in working in the Asian community preferred
3. Experience with Epic
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Ability to work under pressure
2. Outpatient obgyn procedural skills includingcolposcopy, complex LARC insertion/removals, EMBs, pessary fitting and placement, POCUS, Word catheter placement, etc.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
1. Valid California Physician/Surgeon license
2. Current Board Certification or be Board Eligible in specialty
HOURS: Per diem
