**OBGYN Opening in Covington, LA** 40m from New Orleans  **Position Benefits** - Diagnose, manage and treat obstetrical and gynecologic patients in the emergency department and inpatient setting - Provide input in the development of standard of care guidelines for Ob/Gyn service line **Minimum Qualification** - Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. - Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology - Minimum of 3-years of Ob/Gyn practice post residency - Practice-based learning and improvement - Patient care and procedural skills - Systems-based practice - Appropriate medical knowledge - Interpersonal and communication skills - Professionalism Must possess good physical health.  Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.  Lifting at least 20 pounds is required.  Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
