QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School graduate. Graduate of an approved CNA training program
Experience: Previous experience desirable. Preferably, some Long-term care, med-surgical, or related
Other: Considerable skill and knowledge of surgical instrumentation, proper sterile technique and knowledge of surgical procedures required. Ability to work with others.
License/Registration: CNA I-current listing as CNA I with Division of Facility Services with no substantial findings Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires range of motion within functional limits. Occasionally lifting 35 pounds from floor to shoulder level, pushing 40 pounds, pulling 80 pounds. Frequently standing/walking, repetitive trunk rotation - standing; manual dexterity; both handedness (both hands much be used). Requires functional vision and hearing. Occasionally carrying 15 pounds one handed; work kneeling, squatting/crouching. Visional color discrimination and visual depth perception.
