Job Summary:

The Nutrition & Labeling Manager will oversee knowledge management for the NutriCalc product. The primary areas of subject matter expertise will center around understanding of our customers’ regulatory needs as it applies to nutritional analysis and labeling, and how the NutriCalc application specifically delivers on those needs, but also how the data integrates throughout the platform. The role will require cross-functional collaboration and deliverables in support of NutriCalc including responding to customer and prospect queries, development and maintenance of internal and external training materials, and supporting onboarding. Additionally, the Nutrition and Labeling Manager will work with Product Managers and development teams to help define requirements as they relate to global nutrition analysis and labeling regulation.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Respond to queries regarding TraceGains NutriCalc nutritional & recipe analysis reports
  • Respond to queries regarding general and specific regulation requirements regarding nutritional analysis, allergen disclosures, and label requirements
  • Create educational programs and materials regarding TraceGains and NutriCalc application capabilities and their relation to customer’s outcomes
  • Work with the TraceGains Product Team to develop new product requirements
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements for labeling
  • Stay updated on global food regulations and standards related to nutrition labeling
  • Collaborate with TraceGains Standards teams to ensure supplier and customer provided data collection and computations adhere to all relevant guidelines
  • Work with external Food Scientists and/or Nutritional SMEs when questions arise around nutritional specifications, formulation processes, chemical analysis, and other technical questions regarding food and beverage formulation and processing

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience working with food and beverage nutritional pack label regulations
  • 10+ years experience writing and content creation in support of technical products
  • Experience working with food manufacturing and/or large scale food service companies
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and maintain a knowledge base of applicable global regulation in support of nutritional analysis and pack labeling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to be a positive team player, willing to grow and change
  • Occasional travel required for department meetings, all company events, in-person seminars/networking events, etc.
