Nursing Workforce Scheduler

ABOUT US:
Anytime Pediatrics is a remote telehealth organization specializing in pediatric after hours nurse triage. We provide exceptional customer service experiences for our clients and their patients and families. We are looking for an experienced part-time Workforce Scheduler to join our team and help us optimize our patient call center operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a part-time Workforce Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our call center is adequately staffed to meet patient demands. You will utilize historical data to forecast call center demand, peak times, and the staffing required. Also, you will work closely with the team's vacation schedule and understand hiring forecasts to ensure we always have the right number of nurses available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use historical data and forecasting tools to predict call volume and staffing requirements.
• Develop and maintain monthly and weekly shift schedules for the Nursing team.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Monitor real-time call volume and make adjustments to schedules as needed.
• Work with our Director of Nursing Operations to manage the team's time-off requests.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in call center workforce management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Workforce Scheduler or similar role.
• Proficiency in workforce management software and forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of call center operations and best practices.
• Availability to work part-time hours, scheduled throughout the month as demand and adjustments require with periodic nights and/or weekends to monitor schedule effectiveness.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification in workforce management (e.g., SWPP)
• Experience working in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of hiring forecasting and capacity planning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
