SalaryBrainfuse is currently seeking experienced and motivated individuals to serve as online Nursing Tutors. Brainfuse provides online tutoring to support colleges, universities, and individuals. Tutors can work from any location with computer and Internet access.
Responsibilities:
- Provide online tutoring support in nursing and health science disciplines aligned with a Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing curriculum.
- Assist students in asynchronous paper reviews, providing comprehensive feedback on nursing content, accuracy, and minor writing/grammar improvements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
- College-level teaching or tutoring experience in nursing and health science courses.
- Experience reviewing written work and an ability to help others synthesize their thoughts into clear written communication.
- Strong typing and computer skills, along with comfort working in an online environment.
- Solid knowledge of APA style.
- Must have a personal computer with a stable internet connection, working microphone, and webcam. Live help will be provided through our online virtual whiteboard via text, audio, and video.
Our primary service hours will be from Sunday to Thursday, 7 PM to 12 AM Eastern Time, with regular tutoring shifts available during this period. Additionally, tutors have the flexibility to log in at any time for on-demand tutoring or to accept nursing papers for review. Tutors may specify their general availability, allowing students to request pre-arranged sessions based on the tutor's schedule.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
