Seeking a Nursing Supervisor for our Primary Care of Elizabethton Office.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure adequate nursing personnel coverage and reassign nursing personnel to cover unexpected absences or clinic needs.
- Assign/Approve time off usage in compliance with attendance policies.
- Conduct nursing staff meetings.
- Order/maintain clinic supplies.
- Perform peer reviews; promote/demote.
- Collaborate with providers in assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients.
- Maintain patient flow by escorting patients to and from.
- Accurately record patient data, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit.
- Administers subcutaneous, intramuscular injection and IV therapy.
- Obtain blood specimens.
- Clean and sterilize exam or procedure rooms.
- Request and evaluate lab tests.
- Inform patient of results per doctor’s orders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
EXPERIENCE:
- Five years or more in clinical nursing required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
