JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Nursing Assistant you will provide quality care to 6-9 patients a day. The job duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintain communication by informing the nurse in charge of significant changes in a patient’s status.
- Provide all necessary direct services to patients which include, but are not limited to giving scheduled showers/baths, water pass and nourishment, passing trays and assisting with feeding as needed, recording food and fluid intake and output, assisting with patient personal laundry, rounding on patients regularly, charting, completing room set-up for new patient admission etc.
- Answering calls lights promptly
- Stocking Supplies accordingly (gloves, blankets etc.).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
FTE: 0.8; 32 hours per week
Work Schedule: 630am-3pm; Required to work every other weekend.
Salary: Starting rate at $18.35/hour. Pay rate is based off previous Nursing Assistant work experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry and must maintain current certification.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant Course

Benefits:
Benefits are available for non-union staff working 24 hours (0.6 FTE) or union staff working 32 hours (0.8 FTE) per week and are effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
