Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform biometric screenings at client sites to include collecting blood samples by fingerstick; measuring manual blood pressure, gathering height, weight, BMI, and waist measurements.
- Provide FULL health review based on individual screening results.
- Provide excellent customer service at all health screening events.
- Perform basic testing procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control.
- Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Travel is required to screening event locations.
- Minimum of one solid year in work experience with fingersticks
- CPR certification
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds regularly; may be necessary to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours (75% of workday)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiar with infection control policies and procedures
- Venipuncture skills a plus
- Nurses strongly encouraged to apply
