Position Highlights:
- Position: Nurse Specialist - Medical Group Ortho Sports Surgery
- Location: Primarily Skokie Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00AM - 5:00PM; some remote work from home days are a possibility.
- Required Travel: Will need to travel between Skokie and Glenbrook occasionally
What you will need: - License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
- Education: BSN required
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
What you will do: - NorthShore is home to the first and only orthopaedic and spine specialty hospital in the State of Illinois
- Unique opportunity to work in state-of-the-art Spine and Integrated Pain Center and collaborate patient care
- Will work directly with a physician and APP team
- Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and physicians
- Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
- Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
- Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record
