Now Hiring: Join Central City Concern as a Nurse (RN) - Medication Reconciliation (Remote; Must Be Portland Local)

Location: Remote (***Please note candidates must reside in the greater Portland metro area)

Schedule: There is a high degree of flexibility with this unique position. However, there will be no support during the overnight hours or weekends.

Length of Contract:  8 weeks (Approx.)

 

SUMMARY: The Nurse (RN) - Medication Reconciliation position is a temporary/contract role that will be supporting Central City Concern's transition from Athena to EPIC. Our final candidate will be ensuring patient medication information within Athena (CCC's prior EHR system) is consistent with the medical records information for our clients with the EPIC network, which we've now transitioned to. This is a remote-first role.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensuring the medical record information--medication information, specifically--for CCC clients is accurate and up-to-date, based on the data presented in both Athena (CCC's former EMR system) and the organization's new EMR system, EPIC. 
  2. Flagging (or identifying) any anomalies or inconsistencies during the cross-referencing process and making the necessary changes and updates.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

***To be considered for the Nurse (RN) - Medication Reconciliation position, candidates must ensure they meet the following minimum requirements***

  1. Required: Successful Completion of a course of accredited study that leads to the AD, or BS or AA degree in Nursing from OSBN or State Board approved course.
  2. Required: Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
  3. Required: Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
  4. Required: EPIC experience (OCHIN EPIC is preferred).
