Our Nurse Residency, Program Site Coordinator, collaborates with the Nurse Residency Program Director, facility, market, and Division
leaders, and CommonSpirit Health National Nurse Residency Program Leadership to provide site-level leadership, coordination, oversight, development, evaluation, and continuous program improvement for the Nurse Residency Program and its outcomes. The Site Coordinator provides support and collaborative oversight representing the Nurse Residency Program at the facility. In partnership with the director, the Site Coordinator is responsible for maintaining standardization of the Nurse Residency Program, achievement and maintenance of Residency Program accreditation, and ensuring nurse residents are supported in their transition to practice, satisfied, and retained.

- In collaboration with the Director, builds and maintains program standards, structure, curriculum, policy and
processes that support resident progression, program sustainability and nurse retention. - Implements standards for measurable, realistic program outcomes with timelines and accountabilities
- Deploys standardized processes and structures for holding self and others at the site accountable to program
KPI’s - Partners with site leadership to ensure processes and structures are deployed consistently to guarantee
expectations for performance are established and accountability is maintained - Supports the systematic and purposeful collection and dissemination of data and information
- Ensures that ongoing assessments of resident and preceptor’s knowledge, skills, and practice gaps are
performed - In collaboration with the Director, supports the development of the annual operating budget for the
program and ensures budget adherence - Identifies and maintains a strategic partnership network with nursing academic organizations that
aligns with the site, market, division and system workforce plan and future needs - Supports the organizational strategic vision for National Nurse Residency
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in the acute care setting
- Minimum of 2 years clinical teaching experience preferred
- Coursework or degree or certification in adult learning or nursing
education preferred
Required Licensure:
- Active, unencumbered Texas Registered Nurse licensure
