Busy Urology Practice in the USVI looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 1-2 years of Urology experience. This position is located in the US Virgin Islands - you will need to relocate for the position.
The applicant must be a graduate of an accredited program and have their FNP/ PA Certification. Applicants must be BCS/CPR Certified. The office provides in-person evaluation and management of patients with all indicated safety protocols. Telehealth services are also offered on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Management of General Urological issues in an outpatient clinic/office.
- Prescribe medications, change catheters, read imaging, and studies, administer injections, and perform minor procedures.
- Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review
- Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients
- Order and administer tests including bloodwork
- Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems
Qualifications
- Current NP/PA License
- BLS
- ACLS
- Will need to get an Active USVI License once hired
- Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses
- Proficient in EHR medical charting systems computer-based data management programs and information systems
