Form of work- POSITION SUMMARY
- Engages in patient care in the Nursing Home setting using specialized knowledge, judgment and skills. Conducts pre-planned nursing home visits alternating monthly with patient’s physician provider. Conducts non-routine NH visits for acute illness or problems. Conducts post hospital/ ER follow up visits.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current ND Board of Nursing license as Nurse Practitioner, required.
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
- ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
- Educational Requirements
- Education as required to obtain and keep current ND Advanced Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of established professional nursing concepts, principals and practices, required.
- Experience in specialized nursing areas, preferred.
- CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
- Experience as licensed NP, preferred.
