The Mental HealthNurse Practitioner provides professional, high quality, outpatient Mental Health care and related education to the students of North Dakota State University. Participates in quality improvement, safety and other patient care programs.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week during 9-month academic year (8/16 to 5/15) and 8 hours per week during summer months (summer hours may increase based on patient demand)
Advertised Salary: commensurate with experience
Minimum Qualifications:
  • MSN or APRN with Psychiatric-Mental Health certification or equivalent.
  • 3 years clinical Mental Health experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Current ND prescriptive privileges.
  • Current ANCC psychiatric-Mental Health certification.
  • Current federal DEA certification.
  • Interpersonal and collaborative expertise.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with young adults.
  • Experience working in a college health clinic.
  • Experience working with clients with eating behaviors or disorders.
  • Experience working an in electronic health record (EHR).
