If you're a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives, then we want to talk to you. This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing nurse case management services for fertility treatments.
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in our Norfolk, VA office. The schedule is working Monday - Friday from 6:45 AM am - 3:15 pm with occasional weekends (with flex day when working weekend) and holidays.
COVID-19 Vaccination
Shady Grove Fertility requires all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment. New hires will be required to furnish proof of full vaccination prior to their start date. There may be alternative for an approved exemption based on bona fide medical or religious grounds.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for:
- Educate patients and couples about the causes of infertility and discusses necessary evaluation, treatment and/or procedure plans
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure assessment and teaching
- Consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing or procedures
- Assist as needed in surgical cases and transfers
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations while preforming ultrasound procedures
What You'll Bring:
- IVF/fertility experience and background in women’s health preferred; training will be provided
- Valid NP or PA license required
- High level of customer service essential and must be a self-starter
