Nurse Manager (Rn) - Nicu

A recognized healthcare organization in Connecticut is looking to boost their Medicine team with the addition of a new Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager (RN) - NICU

• Oversee the daily operations of the unit, including staffing, productivity, and service recovery
• Mentor and develop staff
• Interface with other departments to assure patient throughput
• Collaborate with the professional development department to assess and identify the learning needs of the staff
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement
• Participate in the selection, evaluation, and coaching of unit employees
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Coordinator, Charge Nurse, and/or Manager
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Background in NICU nursing

Desired Skills:

• Master's Degree in Nursing
