As a caregiver for the elderly, you will provide direct and indirect personal care services to our clients In your community. Must have the interest and ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, and elderly clients.
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides direct and indirect personal care services based on the clients personalized plan of care. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graduate of an approved Home Health Aide or certified nursing assistant program and one year experience working with disabled or elderly adults in a health care setting. Must have the interest and ability to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, and elderly residents especially women religious.
Requires the ability to do routine bending, lifting in excess of 75 pounds, ease in walking up stairs, and standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Clinical Duties

• Provides personal care services to clients according to schedules established in each client's care plan developed by our nursing staff.
• Provides personal care services to clients in a professional, caring, and efficient manner, offering comfort and support, emotionally and physically.
• Will note and report all notable changes to your client's mental or physical condition to the care coordination team. 
• Maintains a professional environment and projects a calm and competent image.
• Has complete understanding of emergency procedures. Concerns his/herself with the safety of all to minimize the potential for harm.
• Performs additional assigned duties at the direction of the care coordination team. 

• Contributes to a climate where hospitality, compassion and mutual support are expressed to those who serve and those being served.
• Assists and collaborates with co-workers as time permits or when requested by supervisor. Shows respect for colleagues in all interactions.
• May be asked to perform other duties as needed.
• Familiar with and compliant with all administrative and nursing policies and procedures focused on client safety, such as “Abuse Prevention and Intervention” and “Incident Reporting.”
• Abides by the HIPAA regulations by respecting the privacy and confidentiality of clients at all times.
