Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using radioactive materials and advanced medical imaging technology. Duties:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using Nuclear Medicine procedures and equipment
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor their response
- Operate specialized imaging equipment such as PET scanners and gamma cameras
- Capture high-quality images of internal organs, tissues, and bones for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results
- Ensure patient safety by following proper radiation safety protocols and aseptic techniques
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and equipment maintenance
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or in a related field is preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of human anatomy
- Familiarity with CT scans, sonography, and other medical imaging techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
- Knowledge of PET scan procedures and interpretation of scan results
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field is required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately

Pay: $34.15 - $41.12 per hour
