Overview:
We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Tech who can perform basic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and Nuclear Medicine equipment. You will work under minimal supervision and exercise professional judgment in providing healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients of all age groups. You will also order, prepare, and identify radioactive substances, process and file films, and assist practitioners with radiation detection equipment. You will also receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Produce high quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and Nuclear Medicine equipment
•Order, prepare, and identify radioactive substances for Nuclear Medicine procedures
•Assist practitioners with operation of radiation detection equipment
•Process and file films as needed
•Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
•Perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards
•Must be willing to take call
Qualifications:
•Education: Associate's degree or equivalent
•Experience: Less than 1 year experience
•Certification and Licensure: ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, Certified Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT), BLS, California Nuclear Medicine License
•Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
