Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. As an FNP, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, radiographs, and electrocardiograms.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient encounters, including assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans, in electronic health records.
- Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations in the delivery of healthcare services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice-based research activities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in healthcare through continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner by a recognized certifying body (e.g., AANP, ANCC).
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Dedication to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care.
