Function:
Reporting to the Lead Server and General Manager, the Server will provide each guest with stellar service from start to finish. The Server will receive and complete every guest order with precision and compassion.
A Sushi Maki Server needs to be a charismatic, passionate, hospitality spirited, team member in order to cater to each guests’ specific needs. The Server will use their talents and quick wit to create loyal and life-long Sushi Maki guests.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve all Sushi Maki guests efficiently and enthusiastically.
- Offer menu items and special promotions.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, especially guest areas.
- Build rapport with guests learning their names and preferences.
- Accurately deliver all food and beverage items to respective tables.
- Knowledge of all menu items and current promotions.
- Apply food safety and sanitation practices.
- Prepare all beverages and some food items according to recipe.

Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- Cash handling capabilities
Physical Requirements
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require up to 50-pound lifting requirement.
- Spends approximately 60% of his/her time standing and walking swiftly, therefore, he/she must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and move freely using all limbs and seeing at close/long distances.
Education and/or experience:
- High school diploma
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Health and Sanitation Practices
