Form of workGrants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2023-2024 school year: North Middle SchoolFood Service Assistant3.75 Hours Per Day/183 days to work QUALIFICATIONS:Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card upon date of hire.Knowledge of methods and ability to prepare main dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other foods; work with recipe portion counts; basic kitchen utensils and equipment.Ability to supervise student helpers if required; handle money.Maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.Upon selection, employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $66 ODE fingerprinting processing fee. STARTING SALARY RANGE: $14.61-$21.11 per hour.
