With headquarters in Durham North Carolina, Green Zone Recycling (GZR) was founded on the desire to build a better, more sustainable future for the global textile & fashion industry, GZR is the largest textile recycler and wholesale distributor of secondhand apparel and footwear in the southeast U.S. market. GZR operates in four states: NC, SC, GA, and IL and has 3,000+ collection points, 4 warehouse facilities, and 80+ employees. We are seeking a reliable and responsible Non-CDL Driver to join our team in IL.
ROUTE DRIVER (Box Truck)
Compensation: $190 per day with daily bonuses
Employment type: Full-time or PART TIME / Monday-Friday and Saturday as needed
Required Skills:
***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING BOX TRUCK***
- Must be able to obtain DOT medical card
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience with route work as well as driving vans or straight trucks preferred
- Familiar with Telematics and DOT Regulations
- Take charge attitude
- Organized
- Good communicator
- Ambitious
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete full route
- Read map and use GPS system
- Able to lift 80+ pounds repetitively
- Able to record accurate data
- Responsible for keeping clean and organized truck
- Must obey all state driving laws
- Able to load and unload clothing/household goods/small furniture
- Good communication skills with Manager
Schedule:
- Home daily
- MONDAY-FRIDAY
- Weekends as needed
