Scott Gulliford Inc has been a service provider for Fed Ex Ground since 2005 and is currently looking for drivers to join our team.
SGI offers a competitive salary, 401K, Paid Time Off, Bonuses, as well as a 4 day work week. We offer flexible work schedules, paid training, company supplied uniforms and paid DOT physicals.
Our drivers deliver in the towns of St. Charles, Geneva, and Plainfield. We will consider all qualified candidates of 21 years old with a clean driving record. Ideally, we are looking for candidates that have commercial driving experience and a Class C Non-CDL.
In order to be considered for employment you must:
have or be able to obtain a Non-CDL Class C license to operate our vehicles.
be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
have open daily availability.
- Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or van to deliver products to customers
- Load and unload products using a forklift, pallet jack, or manual methods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
