Medical Waste Driver Technician is responsible for safely driving the vehicle throughout the day and follow all laws and rules.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements
Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair
Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training and meetings as required by Logistics Manager
Works closely with Logistics Manager to improve efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts
Performs all duties as scheduled by Logistics Manager, assisting other company drivers as directed
Communicates customer requests or issues to Logistics Manager
Completes and maintains tracking documents
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must be capable of using a smart phone for dispatch software.
$17-19/hour (40-55 hours per week) - NON-Negotiable
