Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position, with reasonable accommodation, if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in "other related duties as assigned":
- Service Delivery
- Provide World Class Service to our customers.
- Document and maintain detailed history of service tickets from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate timesheets throughout each workday and submit completed timesheets as required.
- Create and publish documentation on our tools and processes in our knowledge base.
- Assist engineers and customers in solving technical problems.
- Approach technical issues with root cause discovery and resolution in mind.
- Other duties as assigned.
- NOC Operations
- Triage backup, monitoring, anti-virus, and other alerts as they are generated throughout the day.
- Monitor and administer managed backup solutions across the client base.
- Respond to, process, and resolve/escalate tickets for Loffler's various NOC supported systems.
- Alert team of recurring problems and patterns of problems.
- Deployment
- Work with service teams to provide a clear & organized deployment workflow.
- Identify and automate tasks that can save time and improve service quality.
- Identify missing documentation and work with service teams to complete missing documentation.
- Work with inside sales team to help ensure smooth order and delivery processes for new equipment.
- Oversee computers moving through deployment and ensure associated tickets are accurate.
- Contribute to and maintain system, installation, and configuration standards and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized deployment area.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of two days in office.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills.
- Aptitude for creative and alternate solutions.
- Strong team player.
- Good judgment and technical common sense.
- Strong desire to learn, demonstrating independent initiative in seeking new knowledge.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Education/Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related technical field (i.e. Computer Science, Engineering) and/or 1-2 years IT experience.
- Associate or intermediate level technical certification(s) preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
