Their primary function is 24x7x365 Network monitoring, ticket creation and driving issues to resolution. This includes not only the technical troubleshooting, but accurate, timely verbal and written communication to both external customers and internal stakeholders. Additional functions include completing internal projects related to equipment and network tools acceptance, assisting customers with new circuit activations, and assisting the junior technicians on processes and best practices.
