Night time Delivery Driver – Automotive Parts

New World Auto Parts is a leading supplier of aftermarket collision parts with locations throughout the Southeast portion of the United States. We are looking for highly motivated, organized, and responsible individuals to deliver our products to our valued customers. Job duties include reviewing invoices, loading parts on to the truck, receiving payments and handling customer returns. The driver will be driving between Bessemer AL to Jackson Ms and back.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the accuracy of orders being delivered.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, signatures and any issues that arise during delivery.

· Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.

· Communicate with the warehouse and sales team to ensure that orders are filled and delivered on time.

· Conduct routine vehicle inspections on company vehicles and report any maintenance needs to management.

· Always follow all traffic laws and driver safety.

· Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate them to management.

Requirements:

· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

· Previous experience in delivery is preferred.

· Must be able to lift all auto collision parts and work in all weather conditions.

· Ability to learn and use tablet Elite Extra plus GPS System

· Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Pay attention to details and maintain accuracy in all aspects of the position.

· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

· Applicants may be required to take an internal company driving test.

· Applicants must be willing to take and pass a Fit to Work Exam and a Drug Test.

· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Must pass a drug screen

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday (Some Saturday’s may be required)

· Hours: Max 40 hours a week 9p-5a

· 40-hour work week (Some overtime may be available as needed)
