We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Amarillo, TX area to aid in daily living and personal care services in a patient's home in accordance with a physician established care plan.
Currently looking for someone willing to work 8 hour, 10 hour, or 12 hour shifts during the Night. Schedule is flexible!!
This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient's residence. The current scheduling needs for this position will be established between the HHA/CNA, patient, and case manager.
Offers are contingent upon passing a background check
Responsibilities
- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
- Assist with the patients' activities of daily living as well as personal care.
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
- Remind patient of to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communication with the patients' family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- TB testing
- Ability to monitor vital signs.
- Dependable transportation
