This will be a unit based position supporting patient care by insuring cleanliness of and upkeep of equipment and supplies, thus creating a safe environment for the delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Performs a variety of functions to prepare and maintain equipment and supplies as needed by the unit staff.
- Set up patient care rooms for admissions, cleans patient care equipment as dictated by department policy, assists with patient transport.
- Restocks equipment as needed. Maintains par level of equipment.
- Reports defective equipment or deficiencies in supply, enters intranet requests as necessary.
- Requires the level of technical knowledge normally acquired through completion of high school.
- Requires analytical skills in order to identify problems, troubleshoot and find the most efficient solutions to problems.
- Current CPR required - Heart Saver CPR/AED.
Schedule: Every 4th weekend, 11am - 11:30pm, and will be required to remain flexible to accommodate the week schedule for the every other weekend position
