Next School Year Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) Job Near Alpine, Ar

Location: Near Alpine, AR

Type: Part-time, Contract

Hours/days: Up to twenty four hours a week

Start Date: August - May

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work with Early Childhood children near Alpine, AR. This is a part-time contract position that will last for the full School Year.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the occupational therapist to assess, develop, and implement individualized Occupational Therapy plans for Early Childhood kiddos
• Use evidence-based interventions and strategies to help students develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills needed for independent and productive lives.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents, teachers, and other team members.
• Work effectively as part of a team with the occupational therapist and other educational professionals to meet the needs of the students.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Active certification as a COTA from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid AR state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
