Kenosha News, a division of Lee Enterprises is looking for a News Editor to help guide local coverage and lead digital news efforts. This editor will work with reporters to prioritize the stories readers need most and edit them for all products, including the website, mobile apps and the daily newspaper.
The ideal candidate will understand SEO and social media strategies and will help get our stories in front of the right audiences. Solid editing skills are a must.
Kenosha is a busy news city about an hour north of Chicago, so if you’re an energetic journalist who would like to help tell exciting stories, we’re looking for you.
Skills Needed:
- 2-3 years experience in news reporting or editing
- Familiarity with AP style
- Ability to collaborate in a team
- Familiarity with digital analytics tools
