News Anchor/Reporter (Full-Time)
Are you a go-getter who loves staying up to date on the latest news? AVC Communications wants YOU to be their new News Anchor/Reporter!
In this full-time role, you'll get to be an important part of the AVC News team, gathering news and broadcasting it on seven different radio stations. You'll also keep AVC's website and social media pages updated with the latest news.
To be successful in this position, you'll need to be quick on your feet and able to meet deadlines without breaking a sweat. Even better if you've got experience with radio broadcasting equipment and audio editing software like Adobe Audition. You'll also need to be a pro at writing news in the Associated Press format and have a solid understanding of social media.
A degree in Journalism or previous news experience isn't necessary, but it's definitely a plus! This job can be pretty busy, so you'll need to be a pro at multitasking. And if you work hard, there's even the potential to move up to the news director position.

Responsibilities Include:
Always portray AVC Communications in a positive way by your appearance and conduct while on or off the job.
News will occasionally require working evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Maintain and develop news relationships.
