Job Title:Newborn Care Specialist for Micro Preemie Twins
Location:Sherman Oaks, California
Start Date: Flexible, around the end of February/ start of March TBA based on hospital discharge
Duration: Initially 6-8 weeks, with the option to extend TBA based on hospital discharge
Schedule: NCS with flexibility, family is open to hire nights only 10-12 hour shifts or 24-hour care TBA based on dr. recommendation
A new chapter is about to unfold for a set of delighted parents and their Micro Preemie Twins. The family is looking for a compassionate NCS to join their journey, commenting around the end of February/ start of March. You must be local to LA or have a reasonable commute. This family envisions an NCS with a wealth of experience, a seasoned professional with the knowledge of the intricacies of caring for Micro Preemie Twins.
The family is looking for a professional who can adapt to their changing needs. As an NCS, you'll need to be able to navigate through the unpredictable rhythms of caring for Micro Preemie Twins. You'll be accommodating various care arrangements, whether it's the soft lullabies of the night or the continuous melody of a 24-hour watch. The family you'll be working with isn't sure what they need yet since the babies are not home and they are first-time parents.
Collaboration becomes a central theme, between the NCS and the hands-on, involved parents. Together, they are looking for someone who can collaborate on feeding techniques, soothing methods, and overall care strategies that create a cohesive and supportive environment for the twins.This unique opportunity is open to different arrangements, and is embracing the unpredictability of caring for Micro Preemies.
Requirements:

• Extensive experience working with Micro Preemie Twins.
• Excellent letters of reference showcasing expertise in Newborn Care.
• Flexibility in schedule, adaptable to the evolving needs of the family.
• Available for a flexible start date in late February.
• Willingness to work closely with hands-on and involved parents.
• Open to various care arrangements, including nights or 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Micro Preemie Care: Provide specialized Care for Micro Preemie Twins, born prematurely, with a focus on their unique developmental needs, and individualized care plans.
• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with hands-on and involved parents, collaborating on feeding techniques, soothing methods, and overall care strategies to create a cohesive and supportive environment for the twins.
• Flexible Schedule: Be open to different care arrangements, including nights or 24-hour shifts, to accommodate the unpredictable nature of caring for twins. Specifics are TBA.
• Expertise in Micro Preemie Development: Leverage extensive experience to address the unique developmental milestones and challenges associated with Micro Preemie Twins, providing tailored support for their growth and progress.
• Option for Extension: Be available for at least one month with the possibility of extending the engagement based on the family's evolving needs and the developmental progress of the Micro Preemie Twins.

Compensation:

• Starting hourly $45- $60 or Competitive market rate; please include current rates for twins in your email.
