We are looking for a motivated and energetic New Patient Coordinator to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Process all New Patient forms and complete prior authorizations
- Promptly greets patients when entering clinic and assisting with the check-in and check- out process.
- Reviews and updates patient demographics and collects payments as needed.
- Optimizes patients and staff’s satisfaction by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Schedule appointments in consistency with provider availability, facility schedule and office policies.
- Perform tasks proactively while working urgency.
- Assist with filing/documentation, troubleshooting, communicating appointment statics, documentation, insurance, scheduling errors, etc.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1-year of previous experience in medical reception and/or hospital setting, appointment scheduling, and phone etiquette
- Ability to learn quickly and work productively in a fast- paced demanding environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and independently.
- Spanish speaking is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
