The Data Strategy and Reporting Manager will be responsible for driving the data analytics and Reporting strategy across all aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and Reporting, with experience working in a Financial Services/SEC Regulated environment.
Salary is $120-165K DOE and we are open to hybrid and remote candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities
Developing Data Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement data strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for business improvement and innovation.
- Develop data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration:
- Work with various departments to understand their data needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure data availability and quality.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions.
- Use statistical techniques to develop predictive models and drive data-driven decision-making.
Reporting:
- Design and create reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are accurate, relevant, and delivered in a timely manner.
Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team and the organization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and Reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate Data Strategy, findings, and insights to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a financial services environment
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake a plus
- Experience with Salesforce reporting.
- Experience using Tableau/CRM Analytics or similar tools.
- Experience with predictive analytics for forecasting potential risks and opportunities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
