Responsibilities of New Graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- One to-one nursing care in a home environment
- Physician ordered treatments for:
- Medication Administration
- Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for New Graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) / Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Current, active Florida RN or LPN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- No experience necessary we will train you on g-tube, trach, and vent!
- TB test results or a chest X-ray
- Alzheimer's training (provided by Care Options for Kids)
About Care Options for KidsHome Health Care
We value the health and well-being of our nurses and understand the vital role you play in caring for our clients. PPE is provided in each home including masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. We follow CDC guidelines to ensure you, your client, and your family stays healthy.
* New GraduateRN/LPN are eligible for two bonuses with consistent 12 months as a Care Options for Kidsemployee. Billable hours only, orientation, and in-home training hours do not apply. $2,500 bonus for 780 hours worked (average of 30 hours of work per week) within the first 6-months of employment at Care Options for Kids. $2,500 for 1560 hours worked (average of 30 hours of work per week) within the first 12 months of employment at Care Option for Kids.
