We are currently seeking a New Business Technician to join our team. The New Business tech is responsible for various data entry, quality assurance and communication relating to the maintaining and final disposition of applications for life and health insurance
Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of information during New Business process.
- Communicate discrepancies found to the appropriate team.
- Maintain data needed to support pending applications.
- Input and issue data via life pro system.
- Assist underwriting in gathering necessary documentation.
- Assemble policy file in preparation for mailing.
- Answer inquiries via email regarding life or health applications processed from our internal or external clients.
- Process assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Comfortable working within a production environment
- Sense of urgency
- Experience working with confidential information
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Laws a plus
- Accurate and fast paced Data Entry skills
- Ability to multitasks
- Must work well in a team
- Detailed Oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication
