Thus, allowing the Neurosurgeons to focus on surgery patients. Qualifications for this opportunity, are as follows:
- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Neurological Surgery.
- Certification Current certification in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery or in Neurological Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery or its equivalent.
- Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
