Network Support Technician

Eastridge Workforce Solution is seeking a skilledNetwork Support Technician. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Remotely oversee and assist field technicians installing and activating equipmentat customer locations
• Coordinate with customer contacts, field technicians, and other vendors (I.e. security orelevator vendors) to overcome issues during installations
• Verify customer sites are ready for installation using prequalification forms or sitesurvey results
• Create & schedule work orders for the installation of equipment
• Provide detailed summaries of completed work, both to other departments and endcustomers
• Troubleshoot telecommunications equipment, either remotely or with the help of anon-site contact
• Provide feedback to other departments regarding process improvements, productchanges, and the customer experience
• Visit customer locations in the field to oversee work
• Assist in training of new technicians
• Assist with the provisioning & assembly of equipment

Education Requirements & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university a plus. Education emphasis inTelecommuncations, networking, or IT preferred.
• Experience working with telecommunications equipment in the field
• Experience supporting telecommunications equipment remotely
• Experience with networking basics, preferably with a focus on cellular and wireless
• Experience with VOIP
• Familiarity with fire alarm communications and signaling
• Experience working in a technical support or technical management role is highlypreferred
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet goals, assess resource needs, develop schedules,monitor and communicate status, and develop processes and procedures
• Ability to sit for up to 80% of the time.
• Ability to lift or carry objects up to 10 1bs.
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer training or installations
