Position Summary
This is position responsible for recommending division policies, development of work programs and objectives, assisting in the development of operating and capital budget items, and assisting in the resolution of difficult administrative and technical concerns. Additionally, this position is responsible for designing, installing, securing and administering computer networks with secondary duties of providing personal computer technical support. Work involves analyzing information needs, testing and installing new computer software and systems, as well as performing computer network administrative tasks.

Primary Duties:
- Ensures desktop security, server security, Network Security and overall cyber security per CLA Policy.
- Log, analyze and report on security incidents.
- Reviews logs from security tools, including firewalls, switches, VPN, vulnerability assessment.
- tools, anti-virus, etc.
- Monitor networks to ensure reliability and efficient communications. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot network operations. Write network procedures and develop schematic documentation.
- Analyze and document user requirements and recommend hardware and software alternatives. Formulate procedures and practices to assure acceptable network system performance.
- Assists with investigations as required during the course of security incidents including forensics, diagnosis, repair and recovery.
- Creates, modifies, tests, and implements system programs for all computer platforms.
- Provide operation support for database software and determine ways to store, organize, backup and maintain data.
- Designs, implements and maintains enterprise level complex databases.
- Provides system and user documentation on the data architecture and associated applications.
- Assists the Leadership team in day-to-day project management when necessary.
- Assists the Leadership Team in the selection of enterprise and local level software applications.
- Works with system administrators to design, manage, and support local and wide area network.
- Assists in problem determination and resolution and provides support for all package solutions.
- Trains users on use of internally developed applications.
- Install, configure, test and maintain all network infrastructure devices, software and peripheral equipment. Monitor activity and performs necessary maintenance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Minimum Education/Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, required.
- Seven (7) years experience in database management can be considered in lieu of education.
- 18 Year or Older
- Be able to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Be able to write, read and understand English
- Satisfactory Results of a WI Caregiver Background Check
- Must own or have access to reliable transportation to commute to the CLA office.
