About The Role
As a Network Operations Assistant (OSP Scheduler) in the Centralized Operations Center, you will be responsible for coordinating activities and resolving roadblocks to successfully complete projects. These activities will include interacting with various teams and systems to ensure permits, material, and resources are available to complete a project on time. You will also be responsible for ensuring data and reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Review the scope of the project to determine what permit(s), material, and resources/teams are required
- Prepare for and host/participate in team calls to provide statuses and assist in identifying, escalating, and resolving roadblocks, e.g. lack of resources or material, cut cables/broken poles, etc.
- Track associated circuits to ensure timeline completion and escalate as needed
- Provide support for Construction Team/Contractors - managing schedules, documentation, and system updates
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years or more of experience in Engineering, Construction, Operations, or related department
- 3+ years or more of proven project management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with executives and team members
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
