Position Summary:

- The Network Inventory Technician will focus on efficiently managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of all network assets, ensuring that network resources are properly documented, monitored, and optimized.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to designated locations, efficiently manage and maintain an accurate inventory of all network assets.
- Document physical hardware configurations, including routers, switches, servers, and their components other devices in storage inventory database as devices are added to inventory through procurement, disposition, site-to-site transfer, and decommission.
- Ensure all stored assets are correctly labeled and organized for easy tracking and maintenance.
- Coordinate pickups by submitting reverse logistics request through the defined process provided by the customer.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all network hardware assets.
- Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of the inventory.
- Document defects or issues that are found and provided to the customer Product Family Manager or delegate for disposition.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant network certifications or equivalent: Cisco CCNA
- Provide support during network-related incidents and emergencies that may require emergent shipment of network assets.
- Collaborate with the network team to resolve technical problems promptly
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with verification/validation testing of all equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
- Generate reports on network inventory status, and trends showing number of available assets, configurations, locations, and activity monthly
- Provide regular updates to management regarding network inventory and optimization efforts.
- The ability to effectively communicate to customers and coworkers
Job Related Experience
- Requires 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with administration, inventory, maintenance, and provisioning of Cisco network equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
